Our range of UPS systems in the upper performance classes is rounded off with the JOVYSTAR hp series. The JOVYSTAR hp series is the product of advanced developmental work in the cutting-edge UPS technology sector and offers the ideal protection for critical devices. All controls of the JOVYSTAR hp systems have been digitalised. By means of two mutually independent microprocessors that control the rectifier, the inverter and the static bypass, we have created an essential security feature. For a redundant operation (half load parallel operation, (n+1)-operation) or for a power increase, the parallel connection of up to eight devices is possible. This means your UPS system can develop in step with climbing power requirements.
The innovative IGBT rectifier ensures almost sinusoidal electricity consumption. The advantages of this technology are obvious: because of the improved capacity at the input of the rectifier, this UPS system consumes up to 30% less input capacity compared to conventional UPS systems with thyristor rectifier. The reduction of the current at the input of the rectifier in the network feed allows for considerable savings in the dimensioning of your distribution, the fuses and the cable. Because of their advanced technology, JOVYSTAR hp devices are especially suited to an emergency power supply operation in combination with generators. UPS devices from our new JOVYSTAR hp seriesare available in the 200, 250, 300, 400, 500, 600 and 800 kVA capacity classes.
