The Conver C580h was developed for maintaining ditches, channels and ponds, irrespective of the water depth. When it is floating, the boat is propelled by one or two hydraulic folding anti-coiling augers. On land or when there is not enough water to float in, the C580h can move using two 250 mm-wide rubber tracks. The machine can drive itself out of the water on to embankments of up to 30°.
The Conver C580h amphibious machine comes with an industrial 4-cylinder Hatz 65 hp diesel engine. The functions of the machine all work hydraulically. The 2-piece hydraulic mast mounted on the foredeck can be equipped with a series of tools. The standard mast is suitable for mowing and clearing activities. A heavier model of the mast is available for dredging work.
